History: Born in the north to a Miner, Ildrex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Rose's homeland. Rose decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
