Personality: Kava hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Kava never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a Assassin, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Rolf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
