History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
