History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Liftrasa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Liftrasa was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Liftrasa decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Altho was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
