History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Nelkin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He takes great joy in being the best Navigator in town.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She is greedy; and wants to raise her children well
