History: Gerald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sai, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Elaim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Elaim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
