Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hatae does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Hatae was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Marshal. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Thradal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Barber and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
