History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Cumpen was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Antrara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: Adam hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he's looking for his big break
