History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Valorean has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Valorean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
