History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shamil does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Shamil was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
