Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Sailor like his father before him.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jarana does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Jarana was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to settle down with his crush
