Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Balam has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for her, and Paela does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Paela liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Paela was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright.
