History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of a Doctor, who enjoyed hunting, Merla was taken on many hunting expeditions. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
