History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Pearl never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
