History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Surina grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Shipwright business.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vola grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vola. Being a Shipwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born into a rich family. His childhood dream was to be a Butcher, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Butcher again; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
