History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelard. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Priest, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Korfel was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
