Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Harbek hails from a village terrorized by orcs. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Harbek never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
