She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Darrow learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is his passion.
