Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Alston lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for him, and Euron does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Euron was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
