History: Nalaed was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age his father died while driving off some brigands. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in pickaxe use. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Astar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
