History: Emma hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
