Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Map Maker. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Cockaby hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Cockaby was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Cockaby never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Adelard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. During his travels, Adelard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Adelard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Adelard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
