History: Born to a Junk Dealer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gilthur was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Carpenter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born in a small island village. She worked as a nervous Weaver and found it very stressful. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To be a Knight again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
