History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Helja liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She got into the Marshal business at a young age. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
