History: He was born in a small mountains village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his mother before him.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shivering alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
