History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
