History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Caeldrim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Oriel is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriel grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he's repulsed by the pc
