History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Megren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Heartbroken, Megren never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills.
