History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ootah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Ootah and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Eida was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Eida decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned.
