Description: This tall, slender woman dresses like a well dressed Banker does. Her long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She struck the Banker job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Gale lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Olivia embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Olivia hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
