History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'6". He tends to wear a large violet jacket. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Alex wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Half-Orc compassion; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
