History: Meriele hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Aust isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aust does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Aust was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
