History: Robert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gruk alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
