Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Portia grew up listening to her father's many stories. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Lorilla was born the youngest of three triplets. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: This malnourished man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull blue iron scale mail. He has black hair. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Latbag was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Latbag grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Latbag. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
