Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spice Merchant. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Akmen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Akmen. He's also a talented Mason, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She got into the Brewer business at a young age. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She struck the Brewer job and began her own company from there.
