History: Ilanis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she's looking for her big break

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
