History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.

Personality: He is a Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Kairon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the west to a Merchant, Kairon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
