History: Mantus was born the youngest of three triplets. Mantus was a troubled youth. History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north.
