Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has shaved his head bald. He has brown eyes.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Rurik took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: With green face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her crest is short and copper. Her eyes are gold.
Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.
History: Gilkass lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to raise her children well

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants. She keeps her long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She is greedy; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He tends to wear a yellow poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His golden hair is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Enialis was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
