Through the years after Vola was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vola's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by unlife.
