History: Born in the west to a Guard, Rosamund learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Millicent was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bounty Hunter. She's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
