Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Mindartis began to lead the lost caravan. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mindartis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
