Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has brown hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Meriele is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He prefers to wear flannel. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anverth embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anverth grew up listening to his father's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly sickles and tridents. He wears his chestnut hair up. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: This western man wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His clothes are grease stained in places. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
