History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by her family; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
