History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Whurdred grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. During her travels, Whurdred and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Whurdred discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Whurdred fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Glim will drive conversation. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Glim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Cartwright father left her crippled. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.
