History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and someone believes him a fraud
