She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her singing dream.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Server arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Seamstress, but he got bored and became a Server. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Eloise is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
