Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bricklayer business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balam grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Balam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Akmen embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Gifted from a young age, Akmen studied abroad. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Akmen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Description: This northern man usually wears his tan robe and has his rapier always slung over his shoulder. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Peren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Peren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Knight, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
