Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: She tends to wear a green poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She carries with her a set of monstrous two handed axes, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She has dyed her greying scarlet crest a little too much giving a sharp scarlet color. She has a dull look in her red eyes.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: An older man who prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts, he is not a threatening figure. His red fur is thinning but still full. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: Pelt is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pelt grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pelt. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears skinny pants and wears a yellow and blue robe with the hood down. His black hair is knotted and matted. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
