Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Chad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his bastard sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He has silver hair. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
